A weekend in Savannah

Hotel Bardo Savannah opened in February 2024 in an 1888 mansion on the southern edge of Forsyth Park, previously run as The Mansion on Forsyth Park under Marriott's Autograph Collection until Left Lane bought it for $52.5 million in 2022 and relaunched it as its own independent brand, with 149 rooms and a members-only social club. A few blocks north, Cambria Hotel Savannah Downtown Historic District opened in December 2022 at 321 Montgomery Street, a ground-up, 101-room build closer to the SCAD Museum of Art and the Savannah Civic Center than to River Street.
