The place

The hotel sits on eight beachfront acres in Isla Verde, minutes from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and a short drive from Old San Juan.

The concept

Opened in 1997 and closed since Hurricane Maria struck in 2017, the property is undergoing a top-to-bottom reimagining touching nearly every aspect of the hotel, backed by more than $150 million in investment. The reopened resort will add one guest room to its original count, bringing the total to 417.
