The place
The hotel occupies a corner site on Piccadilly at Albemarle Street in Mayfair, central London, close to Green Park and the Royal Academy.
The concept
The building is a Grade II-listed former NatWest bank and office building designed in the 1920s by Sir William Curtis Green, converted across six floors into Colbert Collection's debut UK property — a new premium soft brand from Minor Hotels aimed at independent hotels built around culinary culture and social connection. The scheme is owned by Royal Group of Companies Singapore, a hotel and property investor with more than 70 years in the sector, marking its first European venture.
