The place
Devonshire Square sits in the City of London near Liverpool Street station, a historic warehouse quarter now mixing offices, restaurants and hotels.
The concept
Sir Devonshire Square is the UK debut of Sircle Collection's Sir Hotels brand, converting a former textile warehouse — under construction since 2023 — into a Bauhaus-inspired, midcentury-styled hotel designed by Maison 191, led by Samuel Wright. The building had never previously operated as a hotel. Facilities include a yoga studio and gym and an outdoor botanical courtyard, alongside The Cover, the brand's members'-club concept making its London debut with a social space, botanical bar and a library aimed at remote workers.
Dining & wellness
The hotel opened with an all-day dining concept open to both guests and the public, serving contemporary dishes alongside a cocktail and wine list; a further restaurant concept and the full rollout of The Cover members' club were still being finalized at opening.
