Ergon House

Ergon House opened in Covent Garden in 2025, the Greek food-and-hospitality brand's first hotel outside its home country. Twenty guest rooms share a heritage-listed King Street building with Ergon's signature Agora marketplace and a rooftop restaurant, developed in partnership with landlord Shaftesbury Capital on the site of a former Carluccio's.

The concept

Ergon is a Greek food-and-hospitality brand with delicatessens and restaurants across Greece; Ergon House is its first hotel outside the country and its first hotel altogether, developed in partnership with Shaftesbury Capital, the landlord behind much of Covent Garden's retail estate. The roughly 20,000-square-foot building pairs 20 guest rooms with the brand's signature Agora, a farm-to-table marketplace where bakers, butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers sell produce inside the hotel, plus a rooftop restaurant with an al fresco terrace.

The ground-floor Agora marketplace anchors the concept, alongside a rooftop restaurant and terrace; food retail and dining are as central to Ergon House's identity as its guest rooms.
