Cambridge House, Auberge Resorts Collection

Cambridge House, Auberge Resorts Collection is converting the former In & Out military club at 94 Piccadilly, overlooking Green Park, into Auberge's first UK hotel — 102 rooms with interiors by Jean-Louis Deniot, a private club and spa by Laura Gonzalez, and a signature restaurant, Major's Grill, from Major Food Group. Targeted for spring 2026, the opening has already slipped once from an original late-2025 date.

The place

The hotel occupies 94 Piccadilly, a Grade I-listed Palladian townhouse with more than 300 feet of frontage facing Green Park, previously home to the In & Out (Naval & Military) Club. It's part of Reuben Brothers' roughly £1.3 billion investment in the surrounding Piccadilly Estate, with this building's restoration alone costed at around £165 million.

The concept

Cambridge House marks Auberge Resorts Collection's first UK property, converting a historic private members' club — never previously a hotel — into a 102-room luxury property. Jean-Louis Deniot is overseeing the hotel interiors, while Laura Gonzalez has designed the separate private club, bars, dining venues and spa, splitting the restoration between two well-known names in French interior design.

Dining & wellness

The headline F&B concept is Major's Grill, a partnership with Major Food Group — the team behind Carbone and Torrisi — housed in what's described as an elegant Georgian ballroom setting, alongside an open-air jasmine courtyard. The double-level spa includes extensive hydrotherapy facilities, two heated swimming pools and seven treatment rooms around a circular relaxation lounge.
