House of Gods Canary Wharf
A Scottish boutique brand's first London hotel, with Canary Wharf's first rooftop bar over Eden Dock
Open · February 2026
House of Gods Canary Wharf opened its doors from February 2026, the Scottish boutique hotel brand's third property and its first in London, inside a Jun Aoki-designed building on Eden Dock. The 79-room hotel shares its address with Sacred Garden, a 300-cover rooftop restaurant and bar billed as Canary Wharf's first, after the opening slipped from an initially planned late-2025 date.

The place
The hotel occupies 12 Bank Street in Canary Wharf, on the edge of Eden Dock, inside a mixed-use building whose rippling metal cladding (designed by Japanese architect Jun Aoki as a response to the water it sits beside) also houses a music venue and an events space. It is an eight-minute walk from Canary Wharf Underground station.
The concept
House of Gods Canary Wharf is the brand's third property, after Edinburgh (2019) and Glasgow (2025), and its first in London. Hospitality group Imbiba, which also operates the Amazing Grace music venue and a Camm & Hooper events space within the same Bank Street building, brought the maximalist, guest-as-star positioning that built House of Gods' reputation in Scotland to a financial-district market with almost no boutique hotel competition of this kind. The opening slipped from an initially planned late-2025 date, the operator cited 'unforeseen building circumstances', before rooms went on sale from 9 February 2026.
At 79 rooms, it is a small property by Canary Wharf standards, competing less on room count than on the rooftop bar and restaurant it shares the building with.
Dining & wellness
Sacred Garden is a 300-cover rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking Eden Dock, billed as Canary Wharf's first rooftop venue of its kind. Amazing Grace, a separate music venue within the same building, is run by the same operator, Imbiba, though it functions as a standalone booking rather than a hotel outlet.
