The Other House Covent Garden is the second London outpost of Naomi Heaton's Residents Club hotel format, occupying seven historic Wellington Street buildings — including a former rectory never previously used as a hotel — behind a new glazed atrium. Originally due in Q4 2025, the 146-room property now targets an early 2026 opening, with Art Deco-influenced interiors designed in-house after an earlier scheme with Bergman Design House.

The place
The hotel sits at 25–31 Wellington Street in Covent Garden's theatre district, a short walk from the Royal Opera House and the market piazza. It occupies the historic Wellington Block, a cluster of seven adjoining buildings — including a former rectory that had never previously operated as a hotel — arranged around a new five-storey glazed atrium.
The concept
The Other House Covent Garden is the brand's second London address, following its debut in South Kensington in 2022, and applies the same 'Residents Club' format: hybrid hotel rooms and self-contained Club Flats with kitchenettes, paired with a members' club open to both hotel guests and local residents. Falconer Chester Hall handled the architectural conversion of the seven-building Wellington Block, while interiors — reworked in-house by TOHID after an earlier scheme with Bergman Design House — lean into an Art Deco and Art Nouveau mix: black-and-metal detailing set against teal, muted salmon and leaf-green palettes, developed with input from sustainability consultants Vin + Omi. The project was originally slated for a Q4 2025 opening but slipped into 2026 as the multi-building conversion took longer than planned. The format targets both overnight guests and longer-staying residents who want serviced-apartment space without giving up hotel amenities — a niche between traditional hotels and aparthotels that The Other House has built its identity around since its first property in Chelsea.
Dining & wellness
The Other Kitchen is an all-day street-facing café; Owl & Monkey is the destination cocktail bar. Members' club facilities include lounges, a vitality pool, treatment rooms and a gym, plus The Peacock Lounge, a rooftop bar available to members and hotel guests.
