The Nash, Opal Collection
Printers Alley's independent Bobby Hotel reflagged into Marriott's Opal Collection
Open · March 2026
The Nash reopened March 1, 2026, in Printers Alley, after Ocean Properties Ltd. acquired the independent Bobby Hotel for about $50 million in December 2025 and folded it into Marriott's Opal Collection. The 144-room tower, which first opened as the Bobby Hotel in April 2018, kept its existing look through the reflagging.

The place
The hotel occupies a nine-story tower on Printers Alley in downtown Nashville, a block from Lower Broadway's honky-tonks, the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame — one of the more central addresses among the city's downtown lifestyle hotels.
The concept
The building opened in April 2018 as the independent Bobby Hotel. An LLC affiliated with Ocean Properties Ltd. acquired the property for roughly $50 million in December 2025, and it reopened March 1, 2026 as The Nash under Marriott's Opal Collection banner. The change is a genuine flag and ownership shift rather than a cosmetic rename — the hotel never closed to guests — but the operator has kept the building's existing look and 144-room count largely intact rather than undertaking a ground-up renovation, folding an established independent property into a larger brand's distribution and loyalty program.
Dining & wellness
As of this reflagging, The Nash has continued operating the food-and-beverage venues it carried as the Bobby Hotel, including its rooftop bar overlooking Printers Alley; specifics on any rebranded restaurant concepts under the Opal Collection name were not independently confirmed at the time of writing.
