Radisson Hotel Group and PPHE Hotel Group have signed the first Radisson RED hotel in central London, planned for Leman Street near Aldgate East station. The place
The hotel is planned for the top end of Leman Street, near Aldgate East Underground station and about half a mile from Liverpool Street station, at the edge of the City of London and near Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
The concept
PPHE Hotel Group, which acquired the site, will demolish two existing office buildings to build a mixed-use development combining new office space with Radisson RED's first hotel in central London. The two companies describe it as their first Radisson RED signing in the capital, adding a design-led, lifestyle-branded property to a stretch of East London already reshaping around Aldgate's office and residential redevelopment.
Dining & wellness
Plans include a restaurant, bar and fitness centre, consistent with Radisson RED's standard lifestyle format; no operator or chef names have been announced this far ahead of opening.
