Korn's ten-story Territorial Revival tower was Albuquerque's social and political hub for decades before a $30 million restoration reopened it in 2009. It later appeared as a filming location for Better Call Saul.

Ruth Hanna McCormick Simms commissioned architect John Gaw Meem, the father of Santa Fe Style, to rebuild this Rio Grande Valley ranch house in 1932 into La Quinta cultural center, with a fresco by Peter Hurd and carved doors by Gustave Baumann. The working lavender and organic farm still surrounds the inn today.
