New hotels in Arlington

This guide currently tracks one project in Arlington: Loews Hotels & Co's ground-up replacement of its own Sheraton Arlington, rebuilt as Americana by Loews Hotels, Arlington in the heart of the city's Entertainment District.

What to do in Arlington

Arlington sits between Dallas and Fort Worth, and its Entertainment District is built around professional sport: AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, and Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, stand a short walk apart. Between them, Texas Live! adds restaurants, bars and a concert venue that fills on game days and stays open on the ones in between. Six Flags Over Texas, one of the country's original theme parks, sits a few minutes away by car, and the district's convention hotels give the area a steady flow of business travelers alongside sports and concert crowds.

Where to stay in Arlington

The one hotel this guide currently tracks is Americana by Loews Hotels: Arlington, a $500 million, 507-room rebuild replacing the Sheraton Arlington on the same Entertainment District site, directly across from AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. It joins two existing Loews properties on the same campus, giving the district a combined hotel footprint built specifically around large events and conventions rather than leisure travel alone.
