The hotel occupies 130 West 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan, steps from Bryant Park, inside the landmarked 1905 clubhouse built for The Lambs Club, America's first professional theatrical club.
The concept
Minor Hotels is turning The Wolseley — London's grand café on Piccadilly, feeding bankers and actors alike since 1921 — into a hotel brand for the first time, choosing New York's Theater District for the launch. The 76-room flagship pairs McKim, Mead & White's Beaux-Arts shell with interiors aiming for classical elegance and modern restraint.

The Wolseley New York anchors the ground floor as an all-day brasserie in the grand European café tradition, alongside a cellar-level speakeasy bar and a wellness centre.
