The place
291 Livingston Street sits in Downtown Brooklyn, close to Barclays Center and the borough's civic and transit core — the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Brooklyn.
The concept
A new-build 22-story tower developed by Midas Hospitality and ACRES Capital, The Livingston joins Hyatt's JdV boutique-lifestyle portfolio with a modern-industrial design: exposed materials, 55-inch TVs, spa-style marble bathrooms and dedicated workspaces in every room. Pet-friendly throughout, it leans on local partnerships — art installations from Brooklyn-based creators tie the interiors to the neighborhood.
Dining & wellness
The Grove Lantern is the hotel's all-day restaurant, sourcing artisan breads and pastries from Bien Cuit, charcuterie from Murray's, and coffee and tea from Brooklyn Roasting Company and Brooklyn Tea Company, alongside Brooklyn-made beers and wines. The lobby's Goldfinch Café serves espresso drinks and pastries, and an 820-square-foot rooftop terrace hosts events.
