The place
The hotel stands at 32 West 48th Street, a ground-up tower a short walk from Rockefeller Center in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
The concept
A newly built 33-story skyscraper developed by Extell Development Company — the first hotel Extell operates directly — reimagined as one of Kimpton's largest lifestyle properties in the city. INC Architecture & Design, which also led Rockefeller Center's 2022 renovation, handled interiors aimed at design-conscious urban travelers.
Dining & wellness
The Parlor all-day café and bar and Bar Rocco, an Italian-American brasserie by chef Rocco DiSpirito, are open, with Amasa (Latin steakhouse), Bar Amasa (street-level cantina) and Jade Rabbit rooftop izakaya following in spring 2026, alongside a 24-hour, 1,375 sq ft gym.
