Virgin Hotels Denver is under construction at Fox Park in Globeville, a 241-room new build that will be the brand's first Colorado property and the hospitality anchor of a 41-acre redevelopment. Originally targeted for 2025, the opening has since been pushed toward 2026, with construction still underway.

The place

Virgin Hotels Denver is planned for 4400 Fox Street in Globeville, as the hospitality anchor of Fox Park, a 41-acre mixed-use redevelopment north of downtown built around the relocated World Trade Center Denver campus.

The concept

First announced with a target 2025 opening and since pushed toward 2026, Virgin Hotels Denver will be the brand's first Colorado property and a ground-up, 241-room new build within the larger Fox Park development. Groundbreaking on the first buildings of Fox Park, including the hotel, was planned for the second and third quarters of 2025, with the hotel itself still under construction as of this writing. As a Virgin Hotels property, it is expected to carry the brand's standard lifestyle formula — the signature Commons Club as a combined lobby, restaurant and co-working space, the Shag Room as a late-night bar and club, and the Funny Library Coffee Shop for daytime coffee — set within a much larger neighborhood of residential and commercial development, gardens and parkland.

Dining & wellness

Planned outlets include the brand-standard Commons Club (restaurant/bar/lounge), Shag Room (late-night bar), and Funny Library Coffee Shop, plus an 8,000-square-foot spa with eight treatment rooms and a fitness center. None of this has opened yet and specifics may change before launch.
