The Ramble Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels

The Ramble Hotel opened in May 2018 as the first hotel in Denver's RiNo Art District, developed by local firm Gravitas and joining Marriott's Design Hotels collection. Its 50 rooms share the building with Death & Co's first bar outside New York.

The place

At 1280 25th Street, The Ramble was the first hotel to open in Denver's River North (RiNo) Art District, then still a raw, industrial pocket of warehouses and studios north of downtown — its arrival helped mark RiNo's shift from artist enclave to a nightlife and hospitality destination.

The concept

Developed by Gravitas, a local urban infill development group, The Ramble is a 50-room independent boutique hotel styled around 17th-century French salon interiors, joining Marriott's Design Hotels collection for distribution while remaining independently owned and operated. Its signature draw is Death & Co, the acclaimed New York cocktail bar's first location outside Manhattan, which effectively made the hotel a bar with rooms attached in the eyes of Denver's drinking scene.

Dining & wellness

Death & Co operates as the hotel's flagship bar and restaurant, serving cocktails alongside dinner and light fare; a separate restaurant comes from the team behind Denver's Work & Class, and the property also includes an intimate theater/events bar.
