The Art Hotel Denver, Curio Collection by Hilton

Opened in June 2015 in Denver's Golden Triangle museum district, The Art Hotel Denver built its 165 rooms around a floor-by-floor artist concept. It joined Hilton's Curio Collection in 2020, adding loyalty distribution to an already-established independent identity.

The place

The hotel sits in Denver's Golden Triangle Creative District, within walking distance of the Denver Art Museum, the Clyfford Still Museum, History Colorado and more than a dozen galleries — a location that put the museum quarter, not downtown's convention corridor, at the center of its identity from day one.

The concept

Opened independently in June 2015 as The Art Hotel Denver, the property built its concept directly on its museum-district address: each guest-room floor is themed around the work of a different artist, whose pieces are translated stylistically through the rooms rather than simply hung as decoration. In 2020 the hotel joined Hilton's Curio Collection, a rebrand that folded it into Hilton Honors distribution and loyalty without altering the original art-forward concept. A $3-million renovation followed in 2023, refreshing rooms and public spaces.

Dining & wellness

Fire Restaurant & Lounge serves breakfast through dinner and happy hour with an American menu; the hotel also runs an on-site art gallery, a rooftop terrace with a firepit, and spa/massage services for guests.
