The place
Le Méridien occupies its half of a 20-story tower at 15th and California, one block from the Colorado Convention Center in Denver's Central Business District: a dense downtown core built for convention and business travel rather than the RiNo/Cherry Creek boutique scene.
The concept
Le Méridien Denver Downtown opened in September 2017 as one half of a single 20-story, HKS-designed dual-branded tower it shares with AC Hotel Denver Downtown: the two operate as physically and legally distinct hotels (separate lobbies, separate room counts and brands) inside one building, sharing only ground-floor bars and restaurants and the rooftop deck. It was the first collaborative project between Marriott's Le Méridien and AC Hotels brands following Marriott's 2016 merger with Starwood. This is a wholly separate property from AC Hotel Denver Downtown's sibling brand hotels elsewhere in the city, AC Hotel Denver RiNo and AC Hotel Denver Gateway Park, which occupy different buildings and addresses entirely. Rooms lean on a European-influenced, Le Méridien-branded aesthetic distinct from the AC side of the tower.
Dining & wellness
Corinne Restaurant serves modern American fare from locally sourced ingredients with patio seating; 54thirty Rooftop, shared with the AC Hotel side of the tower, is billed as Denver's highest open-air rooftop bar. The hotel also has a fitness center and lobby lounge.
