The hotel is being built within Sydney Charles Quarter (SCQ), a mixed-use precinct on the western fringe of Perth's CBD in West Perth, with proximity to office precincts, healthcare and education institutions and good connectivity to Perth Airport.

The concept

Announced in May 2026, Radisson Perth at SCQ marks the Radisson brand's first hotel in Western Australia, developed by APPL Group and operated by Mandala Hotels & Resorts within SCQ — a ground-up precinct APPL describes as a 'connected village' blending residential, commercial and lifestyle uses. Both partners framed the signing around Radisson's distinct identity within a crowded upscale segment and around West Perth's ongoing transformation as an urban-renewal target, positioned to draw both corporate and leisure demand across the year.

Dining & wellness

Plans include a rooftop bar and restaurant, meeting spaces, a swimming pool and a stated focus on guest engagement through art and curated experiences.
