Vibe Hotel Subiaco

Vibe Hotel Subiaco opened on 1 October 2020 as TFE Hotels' first purpose-built Vibe property in Australia, a 168-room, 12-storey tower in Perth's inner-west café district. It gave the design-led lifestyle brand a genuine ground-up debut, rather than a rebrand of an existing hotel, with a rooftop pool and bar as its signature space.

The place

On the corner of Railway Road and Alvan Street in Subiaco, an inner-west Perth suburb roughly 4 km from the CBD, known for its cafés, boutiques and the Subiaco Theatre precinct.

The concept

Vibe Hotel Subiaco, which opened on 1 October 2020, was TFE Hotels' first ground-up, purpose-built Vibe property in Australia rather than an existing hotel converted to the brand. The 12-storey, 168-room tower was built by developer Dradgin specifically to house the hotel, giving TFE a design-led lifestyle base in Perth's inner west to complement its city-centre and airport properties. The positioning leans into Subiaco's identity as a walkable, creative suburb rather than a CBD business address: a rooftop pool and bar sit above ground-floor dining, and the hotel markets itself on proximity to Subiaco's theatres, markets and independent retail rather than boardrooms and conference space.

Dining & wellness

St Marks Road Co. operates as the ground-floor eatery, while the rooftop Storehouse Restaurant and Bar sits alongside the hotel's rooftop pool with views back toward the Perth skyline.
