Oaks Perth Hotel has carried its current name since August 2023. The building at 305 Murray Street in the Perth CBD operated for years as Mantra on Murray under Accor's Mantra brand, then moved to Minor Hotels and its Oaks Hotels label. The structure and the address are the same as before.

The place
The address is 305 Murray Street, in the business district, about 50 metres from the Murray Street Mall. RAC Arena and the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre are both close.
It is an address for a working week or an event night, not a waterfront stay.
The concept
For years the building ran as Mantra on Murray. In August 2023 the acquisition by Minor Hotels brought it into Oaks Hotels, an apartment-hotel brand aimed at business travellers and longer stays. Some booking listings still carry an older name, Pacific International.
Sources differ on the unit count: 190 apartments in Mantra-era listings, 185 rooms in a recent one. The format is the apartment-hotel studio, which older descriptions give as a queen bed with a kitchenette, and the current presentation stresses floor-to-ceiling windows.
Dining & wellness
Oak & Vine Perth is the hotel's restaurant and bar. Conference and event space sits alongside it and serves the corporate and convention-centre trade that the location draws.
