Oaks Perth Hotel

Oaks Perth Hotel opened under its current name in August 2023, a rebrand of the long-running Mantra on Murray following its acquisition by Minor Hotels and transfer from Accor's Mantra brand to Minor's Oaks Hotels label. The 190-room CBD property kept its building and location but changed both owner and flag.

The place

The hotel sits at 305 Murray Street in the Perth CBD, 50 metres from the Murray Street Mall and close to RAC Arena and the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre — a central, business-and-events-driven address rather than a waterfront or lifestyle one.

The concept

Oaks Perth Hotel is a genuine rebrand: the property operated for years as Mantra on Murray under Accor's Mantra brand before Minor Hotels' acquisition moved it, in August 2023, into Minor's own Oaks Hotels portfolio — an apartment-hotel brand aimed at business travellers and longer stays. The building, location and apartment-style room format are unchanged from the Mantra era; only the owner, flag and loyalty programme changed.

Oak & Vine Perth is the hotel's restaurant and bar, alongside conference and event space serving the hotel's core corporate and convention-centre clientele.
