The hotel is planned within a new mixed-use development in Downtown Dubai, directly facing the Burj Khalifa.
The concept
Baccarat Hotel & Residences Dubai, announced in February 2023, will be the crystal house's first UAE property and only its fourth hotel worldwide, following outposts in New York, Moscow and India. Twin tapering towers designed by Studio Libeskind combine 144 guestrooms with 49 fully serviced branded residences, developed by Dubai investment firm Shamal Holding and operated by SH Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality company founded by Starwood Capital Group chief executive Barry Sternlicht.
Dining & wellness
Planned amenities include a formal dining room with indoor and outdoor seating, a casual poolside bar, and a Grand Salon, per the operator's initial announcement; a final restaurant line-up has not yet been published.
