The place

The hotel sits on its own beachfront plot on Bluewaters Island, near — but separate from — Ennismore's earlier Bluewaters opening, Banyan Tree Dubai, which opened on the same island less than a year before.

The concept

Delano Dubai is the storied Miami brand's first Middle East hotel, opened under a 2023 deal between Ennismore and Dubai Holding to bring several lifestyle brands to Bluewaters Island. The property revives two of the original Miami Delano's signature concepts — Rose Bar and Blue Door restaurant — reworked for Dubai, alongside landscaped gardens and an unspoilt private beach, in the brand's usual understated, all-white aesthetic.

Dining & wellness

Blue Door, the reawakened flagship restaurant from the original South Beach Delano, anchors the dining programme, alongside a revived Rose Bar for cocktails.

We came my wife and I for two nights, everything was great. The rooms, the facilities, the ambiance. The staff were welcoming snd they sorted out all our issues when we had them. Highlight of the trip was the one hour session antoio has offered me to help me in my workout. Although ive been working out on daily basis for the past 9 years, but his tips and tricks were really cool. Im certainly considering taking a long term coaching session with him in the near future. Thank yoh all for the lovely experience

Honestly the perfect staycation!! First, a HUGE THANKS to our 6th-floor attendant, Angelo, who was super friendly, and promptly helped us with our room and everything else we needed! We had an amazing stay in the Breaking waves suite, which had a breathtaking view. We booked the half-board and the food was frankly excellent, with the hotel breakfast's diverse and fresh options and especially the michelin-star course dinner at Demon Duck. And last but not least, the pool and beach experience was just perfectly wonderful and relaxing. An honest 10/10 would highly recommend without any reservations!

Honestly, the Delano is just on another level. From the moment you arrive, you can tell that no expense was spared—the design is stunning and the attention to detail is incredible. The rooms are exactly as you’d expect: sophisticated and beautifully finished. A huge plus was the breakfast. The spread was excellent, and even though it was busy, the service was seamless and super organized. The whole team is world-class, but a special mention to Peter for such a warm welcome. It’s tough to find a place that stands out in a competitive market like Dubai, but this is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

Everything about my stay at the hotel was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the staff were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and the high level of care they provided. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We are having a wonderful stay at the Delano Hotel. This is my second time in the hotel as i stayed here in Nov 25. The location is excellent, close to many shops, beauty spots, and everything you might need during your stay. One of the highlights for me and my family was the coffee shop. Richard who works there is fantastic – always smiling and such a happy, welcoming person. He really makes the experience special and starts the day on a positive note. Nothing is too much trouble and he is very hard working. The sunbeds by the pool are also worth mentioning. They are thick, very comfortable, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. Maria the manager is also wonderful and very hands on and helpful. Overall, the Delano is a great place to stay with friendly staff, comfortable facilities, and a very convenient location. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning.
