The place
The hotel sits at 3401 K Street NW on Georgetown's waterfront, steps from the C&O Canal and the neighborhood's shopping streets, inside a converted brick warehouse building.
The concept
citizenM's third Washington D.C. property brings the brand's compact, tech-forward rooms — XL beds, iPad-controlled lighting and climate, 4K streaming TVs — to a historic Georgetown warehouse conversion designed by longtime architecture partner Concrete Amsterdam. It is also the first citizenM hotel to open since Marriott's 2024 acquisition of the brand, giving guests Marriott Bonvoy point-earning and instant Gold Elite status through the mycitizenM+ program.
Dining & wellness
The signature canteenM serves snacks and drinks around the clock, alongside a shared living-room lounge and a 24-hour gym; there is no full-service restaurant.
