Eaton DC opened in September 2018 inside a former Four Points by Sheraton on K Street, converted into the flagship of Katherine Lo's independent, socially engaged Eaton Workshop brand. Its 209 rooms sit above American Son restaurant, the Wild Days rooftop bar and a members' co-working floor.

The place
Eaton DC sits at 1201 K Street NW, on the corner of 12th and K Streets in downtown Washington, close to Franklin Square and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
The concept
The eight-story building previously operated as Four Points by Sheraton Washington D.C. Downtown before Katherine Lo's Eaton Workshop took it over and rebuilt it into the brand's flagship — a genuine operator and brand change on an existing hotel rather than new construction. Gachot Studios and Parts and Labor Design reworked the interiors around Eaton's positioning as a hotel for socially engaged, politically active travelers, adding a members' co-working floor, a screening room and radio studio alongside the guest rooms.
Dining & wellness
American Son, the 150-seat flagship restaurant led by chef Tim Ma, anchors the ground floor; Wild Days is the botanical rooftop bar and live-music venue; Allegory is an intimate cocktail bar off the lobby; Kintsugi serves coffee and pastries through the day.
