1425 New York Avenue NW, occupying the second and third floors of Accolade, a new mixed-use development a few blocks from the White House.
The concept
ROOST is Method Co.'s apartment-hotel brand, first launched in Philadelphia in 2014 and built around fully equipped units — full kitchens, in-unit laundry, curated furniture — rather than conventional hotel rooms. ROOST White House, opened in September 2025, is the brand's first Washington, D.C. location and eighth property nationally, built new as part of Foulger Pratt's Accolade development rather than converted from an older building. Interiors by Method Studios mix vintage Oushak rugs with pieces from Audo Copenhagen, Gubi and Room & Board, aimed at longer-staying business and relocation guests who want a residential feel with hotel-style service.
Dining & wellness
No standalone restaurant; the rooftop includes a wet bar and catering kitchen, a reflection pool, communal lounges, fire pits, coworking space and a dog run, alongside a 24/7 concierge and a fitness center.
