Cameo Beverly Hills, LXR Hotels & Resorts

Cameo Beverly Hills, LXR Hotels & Resorts debuted on January 26, 2026 after a renovation of the Mr. C Beverly Hills. Braemar Hotels & Resorts, a luxury-focused REIT, owns the 138-room hotel and Remington Hospitality manages it. Braemar announced the rebrand in August 2023, so the conversion took about two and a half years from announcement to the LXR launch.

The place

The hotel is at 1224 Beverwil Drive, on a quiet residential edge of Beverly Hills on the Los Angeles side of the boundary, which is why the mailing address reads Los Angeles, CA 90035. Rodeo Drive and Century City are nearby, and the hotel lists West Hollywood among its neighbours. Los Angeles International Airport is about 10 miles away.

The concept

The building dates from 1965 and opened as Mr. C Beverly Hills, a hotel created by the Cipriani family. Braemar announced in August 2023 that it would take the Hilton flag, and the hotel was bookable on Hilton's website the next day. The renovation budget was reported then at about $25 million.

Design was handed to Premier, a hospitality design and development firm. The new interiors use burl wood and smoked white oak, sculptural lighting, handwoven textiles and works by local artists, and the lobby has a refreshed entrance facade with sculptural seating. Each of the 138 rooms and suites has a private balcony, and suites add larger layouts and soaking tubs.

LXR is Hilton's luxury collection of independent-minded hotels, and Cameo was one of nearly 40 open and pipeline properties when it joined. A program called Pursuit of Adventure is meant to supply local experiences, the first being Cameo to Catalina, a private day trip to Catalina Island.

Dining & wellness

Zampo is the main restaurant: Peruvian cooking with Nikkei, or Japanese-Peruvian, influence, with lomo saltado, cebiche, roasted shishito peppers and smoked yellowtail crudo among the dishes. The room has travertine and terrazzo and a mural by artists Zoe Derring and Thomas Harrison, plus a patio. No chef is named in the opening release.

Silhouette is the lobby lounge and bar, with small plates and craft cocktails such as a pisco-based Chicha Morada. In-room dining is also available.

The pool deck was reworked, with private cabanas, a poolside bar and teak loungers, and the hotel has a heated rooftop pool and a 24-hour fitness center. The listing does not mention a spa.
