The place
The hotel sits at 1117 West Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta, occupying the base of the 1105 West Peachtree tower — a three-building complex that also houses Google's largest Atlanta office lease and a 64-unit residential tower. The address places guests inside Midtown's densest new commercial corridor, steps from the neighborhood's arts and business district.
The concept
Epicurean Atlanta is the second property under Mainsail Lodging & Development's Epicurean brand, following the original in Tampa, and it entered Marriott's Autograph Collection as a ground-up build rather than a conversion. The 178-room hotel occupies the hospitality component of a 33-month construction project completed under a single Certificate of Occupancy in August 2021, designed by Atlanta firm Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio with a 410-foot steel exoskeleton exterior and LED lighting that changes for civic events. Interiors lean urban-chic, with locally themed art and finishes aimed at food-and-wine-minded travelers and the corporate guests drawn by the Google-anchored tower next door.
Dining & wellness
Reverence, a 127-seat fine-dining room led by executive chef Ewart Wardhaugh, anchors the food program with globally inspired, regionally sourced cuisine. Aerial Kitchen & Bar, an open-air venue on the 9th-floor Sky Terrace, serves South American and Mexican dishes alongside a raw bar and ceviche. The Office Bar, in the adjoining office tower, focuses on bourbon and casual fare. The one-acre Sky Terrace also holds a resort-style pool with temperature-controlled cabanas and an events lawn, while the 1,964-square-foot Epicurean Theatre — fitted with Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchen equipment — hosts chef demonstrations and tastings for up to 100 guests.
