The place
Forth sits at 800 Rankin St NE in Atlanta's Historic Old Fourth Ward, fronting Historic Fourth Ward Park and backing onto the Beltline's Eastside Trail. The site, a former Georgia Power parcel bought by developer New City Properties in 2019, places the hotel within walking distance of Ponce City Market and the neighborhood's mix of art studios, breweries and green space.
The concept
Forth is a ground-up, 16-story, roughly $150 million building that pairs a boutique hotel with a members-only social club, developed by New City Properties and operated by Method Co. Morris Adjmi Architects designed both the building's cast-in-place concrete diagrid facade and its interiors. Guest rooms include residential-style suites with full kitchens on the lower floors, while the club — modeled loosely on Soho House and the Ned — offers discounted membership tiers for working artists, nonprofit staff and municipal employees alongside standard paid membership.
Dining & wellness
Food and beverage spans four venues: Il Premio, a modern Italian steakhouse and piano bar; Elektra, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and bar on the pool deck; Bar Premio, a daytime café that turns into a wine bar by night; and Moonlight, a 1970s-disco-themed rooftop bar overlooking Fourth Ward Park. Wellness facilities include a fitness center, a spa with saunas and steam rooms, and an outdoor pool deck.
