Nobu Hotel Atlanta opened in December 2022 inside Buckhead's Phipps Plaza, the hospitality brand's first hotel in Georgia and its 15th worldwide. The nine-storey building has 152 rooms and suites, a Nobu restaurant of about 10,000 square feet and a rooftop saltwater pool.

The place
The hotel is part of Phipps Plaza, 3520 Peachtree Road NE, in Atlanta's Buckhead district. The mall's outdoor Green hosts a movie series, and the hotel ties its Nobu Movie Nights offer to it.
A Life Time athletic country club and coworking space opened at Phipps Plaza around the same time as a separate tenant, not as part of the hotel.
The concept
Rockwell Group designed the hotel, its sixth project with Nobu Hospitality. The brand's own description is of a distinctly local perspective, though it gives few specifics.
There are eleven room types, from 400-square-foot Deluxe and Executive rooms with a king or two queens to 825-square-foot suites. The Zen Suite measures 586 square feet, the Sake Suite 593 and the Yuhi Suite 802. The Nobu Villa, at 2,138 square feet, has custom Japanese artwork and a painted piano.
In May 2023 the hotel added a Porsche Icon Suite (825 square feet) and a Porsche King Room (432 square feet), making it the first Nobu property in the world with a Porsche experience. It comes with a Porsche-dedicated executive conference room and all-electric Porsche Taycan house cars with personal drivers.
The fitness center is open at all hours, and the hotel also runs a meetings and celebrations offer.
Dining & wellness
The Nobu restaurant covers about 10,000 square feet and seats up to 272, led by executive chef Brandon Chavannes. The menu is built around signature dishes and seasonal omakase.
A lounge and bar sits next to it, with a white-onyx counter and a 12-foot river-rock art installation. In-room dining is available, and the rooftop has a saltwater pool and lounge with cabanas.

May 8, 2023: Porsche and Nobu Hotel Atlanta unveiled a joint hospitality experience: a Porsche Icon Suite and a Porsche Classic Room, a Porsche-dedicated executive conference room and all-electric Porsche Taycan house cars with personal drivers. Nobu Hotel Atlanta became the first Nobu property in the world to offer a Porsche-themed experience.
