The place
Revery sits at 92 Peter Street in Toronto's Entertainment District, a short walk from the TIFF Bell Lightbox and the Toronto International Film Festival's home venues, in a neighborhood built around film premieres, theatre and nightlife rather than the financial-district towers a few blocks east.
The concept
Ontario's first Curio Collection by Hilton property, developed and operated jointly by Easton's Group of Hotels and The Gupta Group rather than a third-party management company, Revery builds its entire identity around cinema and theatre. The lobby unfolds as a sequence of stage-set moments — a red-toned 'Muse Lobby Bar' styled as a concession stand, a 'Box Office' check-in area with checkerboard concrete tiles and screens playing classic black-and-white film clips — carrying through into guestrooms finished with curved full-length mirrors, ultra-high-gloss lacquered surfaces and automated touches meant to evoke a glamorous dressing room. None of the sources describing the opening specify whether the building is new construction or an adaptive reuse of an existing Peter Street structure — treat that detail as unconfirmed.
Dining & wellness
Deauville Club, a French-inspired restaurant from chef Tom Chlebek finished in oak herringbone floors and violet-toned marble, anchors the food and beverage program; the adjoining Gupta Room offers private event space, and the hotel adds two further meeting venues — the Cinema Room and Easton's Boardroom — plus capacity for up to 100 guests in the restaurant for private functions.
