The Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton reopened in August 2017 after a $25 million renovation converted a long-independent hotel inside Minneapolis's IDS Center into Hilton's Curio Collection: the brand's first Minnesota property. Owner JMI Realty and designer Mark Zeff Design reworked all 282 rooms and public spaces around the building's skyway-connected downtown location.

The place
The hotel occupies floors of the IDS Center, Minneapolis's tallest building and a Philip Johnson design, on Nicollet Mall at the heart of downtown. It connects directly into Crystal Court and the enclosed Minneapolis Skyway system, giving guests weather-protected access across downtown.
The concept
Previously an independently operated hotel inside the IDS Center, the property was acquired and renovated by owner JMI Realty, which brought in Mark Zeff Design for a full redesign of guestrooms, lobby and public spaces before converting the flag to Curio Collection by Hilton in August 2017: Curio's first hotel in Minnesota. The name and redesign reference explorer Jacques Marquette and the city's history. HEI Hotels and Resorts manages the property, and JMI Realty sold the asset in September 2021 while the hotel continued operating under the Curio flag.
Dining & wellness
The hotel operates multiple food and beverage outlets, including Jolliet House on the third floor for breakfast through dinner, Basil's Cafe, and the Marquette Lounge, which runs a daily happy hour. Meeting space totals roughly 25,800 square feet across 19 venues, including a 50th-floor ballroom (Windows at Marquette) with city views, plus a 24-hour fitness center and business center.
