Downtown Minneapolis, connected by skybridge to Target Center and within walking distance of Target Field and the Hennepin Theatre District.
The concept
A genuine brand change rather than a straight rename: Marcus Hotels & Resorts, with Hempel Real Estate and Robinson Park, acquired the independently-flagged Loews Minneapolis Hotel and rebranded it immediately on closing, March 4, 2024, as The Lofton Hotel under Hilton's Tapestry Collection — the first Tapestry Collection property in Minnesota. Interiors draw on Minneapolis's waterways, industry, music and art. Marcus Hotels & Resorts, based in Milwaukee, manages the property under Jim Waldvogel, previously of the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington.
Dining & wellness
Cosmos, an American restaurant serving dinner on site, alongside a second bar and a coffee shop/café. Over 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.
