Langham Hospitality Group is set to open its first Seattle hotel in 2026, built into a new 42-story tower rising from the preserved facade of the 1916 Terminal Sales Annex Building. Designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates with interiors by Rottet Studio, the 187-room property brings the group's East Asian luxury pedigree to downtown Seattle alongside a Chuan Spa and branded residences.

The place
The hotel rises within a new 42-story tower built from the preserved facade of the Terminal Sales Annex Building, a 1916 landmark by Bebb & Gould in Seattle's central business district, minutes from Pike Place Market and the waterfront.
The concept
Langham Hospitality Group's Seattle debut pairs Kengo Kuma & Associates' tower — its form drawn from Pacific Northwest basalt sea stacks and the neighborhood's 1920s Art Deco vernacular — with interiors by Rottet Studio. The 187-room hotel and its adjoining residences target a luxury segment downtown Seattle has lacked since well before the pandemic.
Dining & wellness
Plans include a lobby-level cocktail bar with a Pacific Rim inflection, a light-filled breakfast room opening onto a landscaped terrace, the Chuan Spa with treatments drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine, a pool and a gym offering Pilates and HIIT classes.
