Hotel 1000 has operated as a luxury hotel on Seattle's waterfront since 2006, most recently as part of Hilton's LXR collection. It left Hilton on January 22, 2026 to join Hyatt's independent-luxury Unbound Collection, with Columbia Hospitality taking over management of the 120-room property on February 5, 2026.

The place

The hotel is at 1000 1st Avenue, on Seattle's downtown waterfront corridor, a few minutes' walk from Pike Place Market and the Seattle Art Museum.

The concept

The building has operated as a hotel since 2006, first as an independent luxury property, then under Loews Hotels from 2016, then rebranded as Hotel 1000, LXR Hotels & Resorts when it joined Hilton's LXR luxury collection in August 2021. The hotel left Hilton on January 22, 2026 to join Hyatt's independent-luxury Unbound Collection as Hotel 1000, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, and Columbia Hospitality took over day-to-day management of the property's rooms and dining on February 5, 2026 — three flags and three operators in twenty years for the same 120-room building. The 2,000-square-foot presidential suite and waterfront-facing rooms remain the property's signature draw regardless of brand.

Dining & wellness

BOKA Kitchen and Bar serves modern American food and cocktails across lunch, brunch, dinner and a seasonal patio; AQUA Spa offers massage, body treatments and facials, and a Topgolf Swing Suite golf simulator is a distinctive addition for a hotel this size.
