Strider Hotel
A Curio Collection by Hilton debut rising at Boston Landing, beside the Brighton commuter-rail stop

The place
The hotel is rising at 180 Guest Street in Brighton, inside Boston Landing, the roughly 15-acre mixed-use development New Balance built around its own headquarters on former rail-yard land straddling the Brighton/Allston line. The site sits beside the Boston Landing commuter-rail stop on the Framingham/Worcester Line and within the same complex as New Balance's indoor track, headquarters, restaurants and retail — a neighborhood built essentially from scratch over the past decade rather than an established hotel district.
The concept
Boston Landing's master developer, NB Development, first floated a hotel for the site as early as 2012, and the design has gone through several public revisions since — losing height and gaining a curved, blue-grey brick facade along the way, according to renderings tracked on local development forums. General contractor John Moriarty & Associates began visible construction in mid-2025, and city filings around that time described a 170-room, roughly 130,000-square-foot building with retail, restaurant and service space. Hilton's Curio Collection will operate the property under the Strider name, with HHM Hotels managing day-to-day operations; HHM's own recruiting material describes it as "an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel."
Dining & wellness
Plans call for a restaurant and bar plus meeting space for groups, positioned to serve both Boston Landing's office tenants and travelers passing through the adjacent commuter-rail stop. No chef, operator or menu concept had been announced as of this writing.
