The concept

Imagine Beach Road was the fourth property from Melbourne-based Imagine Hotels & Resorts and the small independent group's first move outside Australia, opening after the demolition of an existing building on the site (its prior use was not confirmed in sourcing). The 15-storey tower comprises 112 studios with interconnecting-room options, aimed at both business and leisure travellers drawn to the Britomart district's mix of offices, dining and nightlife.

Excellent location handy to Britomart and city center, restaurants, cafes and shops. Friendly professional service and comfortable rooms with nice decor, excellent shower, comfortable bed and pillows. Great value for money. Always stay here when in Auckland!

This was the first hotel we stayed at on our trip to New Zealand, and it was the perfect way to start our holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the CBD, making it easy to explore the city and access everything we needed. Our room was clean, tidy, and well-presented, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a decent sleep after travelling, honestly better than some 5-star hotels we’ve stayed in. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for 3 nights and overall had a very good experience. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of many places, and very convenient. The room was super clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything felt very well maintained. The staff were also very nice, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The only thing I would say could be improved is the late checkout policy. The options were either to pay for late checkout or to get it for free in exchange for not having the room cleaned for the entire stay. For a 3-night stay, that felt a bit excessive, especially when paying full price. I think it would feel more reasonable if the room simply wasn’t cleaned for one day instead of the full stay. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

Well situated within walking distance of many attractions and good restaurants. Room good sized, cleaned daily. Complimentary tea and coffee. Kettle, fridge and hairdryer supplied. Although on a main road very quiet.

Great place! Rooms are amazing, the staff were friendly and very helpful when I needed guidance for a few things. Location is perfect, walking distance from basically everything. Spark arena is right across the street so the best place to stay for concerts. Definitely coming back ☺️
