10 Eden Crescent, in Auckland's CBD — a short heritage lane in the heart of downtown, minutes from the waterfront and the city's main commercial district.
The concept
A historic CBD building is being converted into an 82-room boutique hotel under Autograph Collection, Marriott's roster of independent-minded heritage properties — part of the same three-hotel agreement between Marriott International and CP Group that also covers Rotorua and Wellington. The project is pitched around "the distinctive character and history of the building" paired with Autograph Collection's independent spirit, and will be Marriott's fourth hotel in Auckland once it opens, and the brand's first Autograph Collection property in New Zealand.
