The place
The 14-storey tower sits at 311 E. 5th Street in downtown Austin, the only Autograph Collection address in the city centre and White Lodging's 13th hotel in the Austin market.
The concept
White Lodging's residential-minded downtown build furnishes rooms with hardwood floors and a mini bar stocked like a home pantry, backed by a dedicated house car and a resident text service — a bid to give a 258-room hotel the feel of a private address rather than a convention-district tower.
Dining & wellness
The Yacht Club, a fine-dining seafood restaurant with a dedicated oyster bar, and Sundeck Social, a guest-only rooftop pool and social club on the 14th floor.
