The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery

The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery opened in June 2022 in Tung Chung on Lantau Island, as the first MGallery hotel in Hong Kong and Accor's first hotel on the island. Built into Swire Properties' Citygate retail complex near the airport, the 206-room property earned a BEAM Plus Gold sustainability rating and positions itself as an eco-chic resort rather than an airport transit hotel.

The concept

The Silveri Hong Kong opened in June 2022 as the first MGallery-branded hotel in Hong Kong and Accor's first hotel of any brand on Lantau Island, developed by Swire Properties as part of its Citygate retail complex. The 206-room property is styled as a modern manor house rather than an airport-transit hotel, earning a BEAM Plus Gold sustainability rating and building its identity around gardens, terraces and greenery rather than the harbour views that anchor most of the city's other recent luxury openings — a deliberate trade-off given its distance from Central and Kowloon.

Dining & wellness

The hotel's dining line-up includes a deli, a bar and a fusion restaurant, alongside an executive lounge, a 25-metre outdoor seasonal swimming pool and jacuzzi.
