The concept
Hopewell Hotel had its soft opening on 10 December 2024 inside Hopewell Centre II, a 55-storey tower Hopewell Holdings built next to its own landmark 1980 cylindrical Hopewell Centre after decades of planning and a scaled-down redesign from an initially proposed 93-storey scheme. With 1,000 rooms and suites across 35 floors — sizes ranging from roughly 300 to 3,888 square feet — it became the largest five-star hotel on Hong Kong Island. The hotel sits amid hillside greenery above Wan Chai, connected to Hopewell Mall, the district's largest lifestyle mall, and to more than 6,500 square metres of column-free meeting and convention space.
Dining & wellness
The hotel's dining and bar facilities serve Chinese and international cuisine, complementing the retail and restaurant mix of the adjoining Hopewell Mall.
