The concept
Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong opened on 15 September 2025 as the Kimpton brand's Hong Kong debut and, by room count, its largest hotel anywhere in the world. The design, led by HBA with public spaces by via, is built around a 'Culture of Time' concept referencing the adjacent Signal Hill Garden and its 1907 Black Ball Time Signal Tower, expressed through red-brick detailing, maritime motifs and shifting spatial rhythms across the 495 harbour-view rooms.
Dining & wellness
Birdsong, a 70-seat coffee lounge, serves a bespoke blend developed with Hong Kong roaster Elephant Grounds. JTJA, led by chef Vicky Lau, serves an elevated take on Southwestern Chinese bistro cuisine drawing on Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi flavours. Swim Club, a 54-seat rooftop bar and infinity pool, channels Southern California pool-club style with Victoria Harbour views.
