The concept
Hyatt announced on 27 October 2025 that an affiliate had signed a management agreement with Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties for Hong Kong's first Andaz hotel, to be built as part of Central Crossing, a new mixed-use development at 118 Wellington Street combining the hotel with commercial offices, public green space and preserved heritage architecture. The new-build, 125-room hotel is planned to include an 'Andaz Village' retail hub for wellbeing, gourmet and lifestyle brands, alongside premium guestrooms designed to double as intimate event spaces. Hyatt targets a 2027 opening; as of this listing, construction has not been independently confirmed as underway.
Dining & wellness
Planned dining includes an all-day restaurant and a 'Living Room' social space, plus a fitness centre; no restaurant operators or chefs have been named publicly yet.
