Andaz Hong Kong Central

Hyatt announced on 27 October 2025 plans for Hong Kong's first Andaz hotel, a 125-room new-build property inside Central Crossing, a mixed-use development at 118 Wellington Street combining the hotel with offices, green space and preserved heritage architecture. The hotel is targeted to open in 2027, managed by Hyatt for developers Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties.

The concept

Hyatt announced on 27 October 2025 that an affiliate had signed a management agreement with Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties for Hong Kong's first Andaz hotel, to be built as part of Central Crossing, a new mixed-use development at 118 Wellington Street combining the hotel with commercial offices, public green space and preserved heritage architecture. The new-build, 125-room hotel is planned to include an 'Andaz Village' retail hub for wellbeing, gourmet and lifestyle brands, alongside premium guestrooms designed to double as intimate event spaces. Hyatt targets a 2027 opening; as of this listing, construction has not been independently confirmed as underway.

Dining & wellness

Planned dining includes an all-day restaurant and a 'Living Room' social space, plus a fitness centre; no restaurant operators or chefs have been named publicly yet.
