Hotel RailwayParc Montreal, Tapestry Collection by Hilton opened in summer 2025 in the city's Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough, a 75-key railway-themed boutique property developed by Sergakis Holdings and operated by Opal Hospitality — one of Hilton's smallest recent Tapestry Collection entries in Canada.
The hotel sits in Montreal's Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough, close to Carrefour Angrignon and roughly 18 minutes from Old Montreal, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and Trudeau International Airport — a residential, off-downtown location rather than a tourist-strip address.
Sergakis Holdings developed the property with Opal Hospitality brought in to run day-to-day operations, guest experience and the on-site food and beverage program. The railway theming that gives the hotel its name runs through its design, though none of the available sources — including the developer's own materials — specify what previously stood on the site, so whether this is new construction or a conversion of an earlier building remains unconfirmed. At 66 rooms and 9 suites, it's a notably small-scale entrant into Hilton's Tapestry Collection roster by the standards of most properties this guide tracks.
Amenities include a fitness centre, an event space and meeting room, and on-site restaurant and bar service; the hotel also offers free outdoor parking, an electric-vehicle charging station and pet-friendly rooms for a fee.

We had a wonderful stay here- our first time at a tapestry hotel in the Hilton portfolio.
Many thanks to Daniel for making our stay so pleasant, from beginning to end. He was clear about the amenities and helped us out with all the questions.
Our first floor room was immaculate, beautiful, spacious and more than we hoped for. We appreciated having the credits to spend at the bar (once every 24h) with our gold status.
We loved the layout, the two showers (including a bath tub), and the furniture was all very modern and clean
While we never ordered food from the bar, everything we saw looked delicious.
The amenities in the room are all subtle with nice touches - a nespresso machine, clothing steamer amongst other things. We loved having a little vestibule that separated us from our storage closet. Bath tub was wonderful. Even the aitex curtains were unique and elevated.
Overall, we would gladly stay here again. We are already talking about our next trip to Montreal. It was pleasant, quiet, very modern and very comfortable. As long as you know what to prepare for, you’ll love staying here.

Some upsides of our stay:
Close to some great food. A few mins away, there’s amazing dumplings at AI’s if you want casual authentic Chinese. Theres A&W minutes away for classic fast food. Across the street is a Maxi’s, a well stocked grocery store.
10 minutes away you have Verdun, a really hip neighborhood with lots to see and eat.
Plenty of great food options nearby - Persian food, Portuguese chicken, Korean friend chicken, Korean supermarket, etc all within 10-15mins drive.
Some downsides:
The water machines are on 2nd and third floor, and none on the first floor.
No pool, so keep that in mind if you bring your family.
No ice machine, but front desk has bags of ice and ice packs to give upon request.
No great bakeries within walking distance - this hotel is great if you have your own car.
We recently stayed for 5 days to attend a family wedding. We initially chose this hotel for the proximity to family and wedding venue. We were pleasantly surprised to everything this hotel had to offer. Excellent sized room, comfortable bed and plenty of storage and comforts to make our stay perfect. Loved the amenities, such as the large safe, steamer, high powered hairdryer and the high end bath toiletries. Despite the outside road contruction right out front it was amazing quiet in our room. The bonus restaurant downstairs served a variety of healthy breakfasts and wonderful drinks in the evening. Parking lot was well lit and we could see security cameras well placed that made us comfortable coming in late at night. There was always someone at the front desk. Everyone of the front desk staff members were genuinely kind and helpful for all our needs. Daniel met us most days with a smile and addressed our travel questions. It really made our day to see this level of customer service. I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to book this place again for our future visits to Montreal.
I booked this hotel for the tail end of my 8-day Quebec vacation. After doing some research and watching Google review videos of the room, I specifically chose the King Bed Junior Suite with the in-room tub. My kids love pools and hot tubs, and since this hotel doesn't have a pool, the tub was an important feature for us. I was also looking forward to relaxing with a soak after a long day at Granby Zoo. The larger room size and microwave for warming up takeout were additional reasons I selected this room type.
When we arrived, however, the room had no tub, no microwave, and felt a bit smaller than expected. My husband was told by the front desk that there were no remaining rooms with tubs available. To their credit, they did try to find us one, but unfortunately were unable to.
The room itself is clean, modern, and generally well maintained. I did notice a few spots on the pillowcases, though that didn't bother me much. What was disappointing was receiving a room that lacked several of the features I specifically booked and was looking forward to enjoying. I had planned on bringing back leftovers and takeout after long days of sightseeing and was disappointed to discover there was no microwave available to reheat them, despite that being one of the reasons I chose this room category.
I'm not sure how the mismatch happened, but after a long week of traveling, it was frustrating to arrive and find that the room didn't match the reservation. Overall, it's not a terrible stay, but it is disappointing to pay for and anticipate certain amenities only to find they aren't available upon arrival.
I had an amazing stay in the King Junior Suite... truly a beautiful room from start to finish. It was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed, making it feel both luxurious and comfortable. The bathroom was a highlight, featuring a big, relaxing tub and a huge shower that felt like a spa experience.
The separate living room area added such a nice touch, giving extra space to unwind, and the big screen TV made it perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exceeded my expectations.
The staff were also very accommodating, friendly, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, space, and a touch of luxury!!
I have been to a number of Hilton hotels as I have traveled through various parts of the United States and the world. I have stayed at various levels of Hilton establishments as well. The Hilton Tapestry Collection hotels have always been unique and enjoyable experiences.
Hotel Railwayparc Montreal has stood out among the top of them. Newly opened in July 2025, all the rooms are very well-renovated and furnished with many high-end touches, giving the rooms a clean, calm, modern feel. The high ceilings give the rooms a spacious feeling. Having stayed in the 1 King 1 Bedroom suite, it will be difficult to not continue to prefer 1 King 1 Bedroom suites on future stays given the increased comfort level and larger layout. The bathrooms are well-proportioned with great shower head and fantastic water flow giving you a nice, clean feeling whether it has been a day out with family and kids or if you are a business traveler and had a long day of conference or meetings.
Amenities, room quality, and bathroom experience aside, perhaps the most outstanding aspect of Hotel Railwayparc Montreal is the customer service. Being greeted with a warm, friendly smile w/ attention paid to accommodations... small, low tech tablets for kids to be able to draw repeatedly on... and attentive guest service agents make the stay here not only comfortable, but warm and inviting as well. This ability to make someplace foreign feel as warm and cozy as home is the most outstanding quality of this establishment. It is a testimony to the staff here to be able to provide such an experience.
