The place
The hotel is at 980 De Maisonneuve Boulevard West, in the Golden Square Mile. Office towers, transit connections and the shopping streets are around it. McGill College Avenue, Place Montréal Trust and Sainte-Catherine Street are the nearest landmarks.
The concept
The second Metcalfe applies Gray Collection's quiet-luxury approach: warm colour palettes, natural materials and clean, simple lines. Montréal's tourism board describes the hotel as fully renovated, and booking platforms list the same address under its earlier name, Le St-Martin Hôtel Particulier.
Gray Collection president Dimitri Antonopoulos calls the opening the natural evolution of the group's vision. Its hotels placed four times in the top five for Eastern Canada in the 2025 Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards: Auberge du Vieux Port (second), Metcalfe Ottawa (third), Le Petit Hôtel (fourth) and William Gray (fifth).
Dining & wellness
Benjamin Steakhouse Parisien serves dry-aged AAA cuts, grilled dishes and cocktails from morning to night. The company calls a modern Parisian steakhouse a rarity in Montréal.
The outdoor pool is heated and open year-round, which the company frames as a micro-resort feel in the middle of the city. There is also a fitness room, paid indoor parking, and meeting space for up to 75 guests in cocktail format.
