The place

In SouthPark, Charlotte's premier retail and business district, the hotel positions itself as a boutique social hub for a neighborhood built around shopping and corporate offices rather than downtown tourism.

The concept

The Hyatt Centric brand's North Carolina debut reinterprets the region's landscapes through an earthy palette of stone, wood and metal, with a curved centerpiece staircase and a living moss mural anchoring the lobby, designed by Atlanta firm Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio.

Dining & wellness

IRO, the lobby restaurant, serves seasonal small plates and signature cocktails, while the rooftop Mizu offers wood-fired Japanese robata grilling; guest bathrooms are stocked with Drybar dryers and rainfall showerheads.
