The place

15 Enggor Street, Tanjong Pagar — Singapore's Central Business District, a short walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT station, amid corporate headquarters and a stretch of the city's maritime heritage near the port.

The concept

Ascott and developer New Vision Holding broke ground in January 2026 on a 29-storey tower billed as Ascott's global flagship — a biophilic "vertical rainforest" design built around layered greenery, water features and open-air wellness zones, with architecture by RSP, landscape design by Benoy and interiors by the London studio Elicyon. New Vision Holding is majority-owned by China's Hsteel, which bought an 80% stake in the developer in 2023. The finished tower will split 137 units between 42 hotel rooms and 95 serviced apartments, aimed at business travelers and long-stay guests, and is targeting BCA Green Mark Platinum certification alongside whole-life carbon and maintainability standards. Completion is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2029.

Dining & wellness

Planned amenities include a pool, spa, meditation lounge, café bar, forest verandah, rooftop garden, gym and launderette, woven around site-responsive artworks referencing Tanjong Pagar's maritime past. No standalone restaurant concept or chef has been announced at this pre-construction stage.
