With more time, the Tennessee State Capitol and the Bicentennial Capitol Mall sit at downtown's northern edge near the Capitol District, and the Cumberland River waterfront is a short walk east toward East Nashville across the river. Second Avenue & the Historic Core

Studio 154 opened at 154 Second Avenue North in July 2022, a block from Broadway and near the Ryman and Bridgestone Arena; Fairlane Hotel opened a few blocks away on Union Street in the Arts District in fall 2017. Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel, announced for a Commerce Street site across from the AT&T Building, nicknamed the Batman Building, is confirmed but has no opening date yet.

Nashville Yards

Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown opened at 127 Rosa L. Parks Boulevard in February 2024, next to the Nashville Yards development; Signia by Hilton Nashville Yards, confirmed for the corner of Church Street and 9th Avenue North inside the development itself, has no opening date yet.

Capitol District

Moxy Nashville Capitol District, confirmed for September 2027, will open at 450 James Robertson Parkway facing the Tennessee State Capitol at downtown's northern edge.
