The place

The hotel is part of Market Square, a $400 million mixed-use precinct developed by ICD Property with the City of Adelaide in the historic core of the CBD, combining office, retail and residential space around the hotel.

The concept

Founded by Starwood Capital's Barry Sternlicht, Treehouse Hotels pitches itself as an accessible, design-led lifestyle counterpart to SH Hotels & Resorts' higher-end 1 Hotels and Baccarat brands. Adelaide becomes only the brand's second property worldwide, following its Charleston debut, woven into Woods Bagot's masterplan for the Market Square precinct.

Dining & wellness

An all-day dining restaurant, a terrace bar with outdoor seating, a lobby lounge and a grab-and-go 'Backyard' outlet are planned, alongside a wellness spa, fitness facilities and more than 500 square meters of indoor and outdoor event space.
